Kylie Rice is 11 years old and has Linear Scleroderma.

Kylie was diagnosed at the age of 7. She has been a guest speaker at the annual luncheon for the Florida Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation, and has had her story published in a recent medical magazine. She has two sisters, and is active in soccer, tap and ballet dancing (all of which are very good for her having Scleroderma). Kylie understands that she has a disease that has no cure; She has a strong will and believes that Scleroderma is not going to stop her from doing the things she wants to do in life.

Kylie has been off all medicines since the summer of 2010! She is staying healthy and active by playing soccer and dancing. Next year she plans on playing competitive soccer. Kylie is now in the 5th grade and loves to play Just Dance on Wii.
